The Deluxe Adjustable Base is the full-featured step up from our entry-level Sleep Beat SE-1005. It runs the same German Okin motor but adds 15 massage programs, under-bed LED lighting, USB charging ports, and wireless remote with programmable memory positions. If you want every comfort feature on one base, massage, ambient lighting, zero-gravity, anti-snore positioning, and preset recall, this is the one. If you just want head and foot articulation without the extras, the Sleep Beat SE-1005 starts at $849.
What the Deluxe adds over the SE-1005
- 15 massage programs, multiple intensity levels, wave and pulse patterns, timer (15 or 30 min auto-off). Head zone, lumbar zone, and foot zone operate independently.
- Under-bed LED lighting, soft ambient strip, adjustable brightness, remote-controlled. Useful for nighttime navigation without fully waking up.
- USB charging ports, charge devices from the base without running a cord across the bed.
- Programmable memory positions, save your preferred head/foot angle and recall it with one button.

What is the difference between the Deluxe and the Sleep Beat SE-1005?
The SE-1005 is the entry-level base: head/foot articulation, zero-gravity preset, flat button, and wireless remote with flashlight. The Deluxe adds 15 massage programs, under-bed LED lighting, USB ports, an anti-snore preset, and programmable memory positions. Both use the same German Okin motor. If you won't use massage or lighting, the SE-1005 is the better value.
How many massage zones does the Deluxe have?
Three zones, head/upper back, lumbar, and feet, each operating independently. You can run all three together or isolate a single zone. There are 15 pattern combinations in total (wave, pulse, and mixed) with adjustable intensity and a 15 or 30 minute auto-off timer.
Can I use my existing mattress?
Most pocket-coil, hybrid, and latex mattresses up to 14" thick are compatible. Flippable two-sided innerspring mattresses are generally too rigid for articulation. If you're unsure, bring the mattress model name to the showroom or call us, we can check before you buy.

How quiet is the Okin motor during adjustment?
Very quiet, typically 40–45 dB during movement, which is about the level of a quiet library. Most partners sleep through an adjustment. The massage vibration is louder than the lift motor during active use, but the 30-minute timer prevents it from running all night.
