Hypnos Empress Royal Series Two-Sided Mattress

The Empress is where Hypnos introduces horsehair, and horsehair is the fibre that quietly separates traditional luxury bedmaking from everything else. Each strand is hollow, so it moves humidity away from your body and keeps the sleeping surface at a steadier microclimate all night. It is also naturally resilient, which is why the great European bedmakers have used it for over a century.

Around that horsehair sit wool and cotton fills, hand-tufted with 100% wool rosettes, on a two-sided 12.5-inch build with three rows of side-stitching and the honeycomb 9-turn pocket coil core. Soft, Regular, and Firm coil options cost the same, so you pick by feel. Hypnos has handcrafted beds in Buckinghamshire, England since 1904 and has held an unbroken Royal Warrant since 1929, currently granted by His Majesty King Charles III. The Canadian line is designed in England and built under license in Edmonton by Araam Inc.
