Hypnos Hampton Sovereign Series Mattress

The Hampton is the entry into the Sovereign Series, which is a strange sentence to write about a bed with alpaca, silver wool, and horsehair inside it. The Sovereign tier is where Hypnos sources fibres from unusual places and assembles them by hand: alpaca for light, water-resistant resilience; silver wool, whose embedded silver ions resist bacteria and dust mites; horsehair for airflow; plus cotton, wool, and Airbond.

The build is two-sided at a 12-inch crown, with three rows of side-stitching done by hand, eight padded handles, and sixteen air vents that keep the natural fills ventilated. The cover is pure wool Hypnos Damask in a monocolour weave. Soft, Regular, and Firm builds cost the same. Hypnos has handcrafted beds in Buckinghamshire, England since 1904 and has held an unbroken Royal Warrant since 1929, currently granted by His Majesty King Charles III. The Canadian line is designed in England and built under license in Edmonton by Araam Inc.
