The St. James layers organic wool, alpaca, horsehair, needled wool, and organic cotton inside a Belgium viscose and wool fabric in oyster beige. Where the Hampton below it leans on silver wool and Airbond, the St. James goes further into organic territory: the wool and the cotton both carry organic sourcing, which is rare air even among luxury bedmakers.

The construction is Sovereign through and through: individually wrapped pocket coils, three rows of side-stitching by hand, eight padded handles, sixteen air vents, and hand-tufting with 100% wool rosettes. It is a two-sided bed at an 11-inch crown, offered in Soft, Regular, or Firm at the same price. Hypnos has handcrafted beds in Buckinghamshire, England since 1904 and has held an unbroken Royal Warrant since 1929, currently granted by His Majesty King Charles III. The Canadian line is designed in England and built under license in Edmonton by Araam Inc.
