Hypnos describes the Sovereign Series as beds of royalty built on a foundation of over 2,000 honeycomb sewn pocket coils, and the Viceroy is its pinnacle: cotton, wool, latex, and horsehair layered by hand inside an embossed pure wool Hypnos Damask cover, with four rows of side-stitching sewn by hand along the border and twenty air vents keeping the fills fresh.

Four rows of hand side-stitching is the detail that tells you where you are. Each row takes a craftsman hours, and each one ties the border more firmly to the coils so the edge supports you identically in year twelve as in year one. It is a two-sided 12-inch build offered in Soft, Regular, or Firm. Hypnos has handcrafted beds in Buckinghamshire, England since 1904 and has held an unbroken Royal Warrant since 1929, currently granted by His Majesty King Charles III. The Canadian line is designed in England and built under license in Edmonton by Araam Inc. The Royal Warrant has been held unbroken since 1929.
