If you and your partner have different temperature preferences at night, this duvet was designed for you. The SmartCare Dual Warmth Duvet is split down the middle — one side carries a heavier fill for the person who sleeps cold, the other side lighter for the person who runs warm. Same duvet. Two different sleep environments.
How It Works
The duvet is divided into two zones with different fill weights. The "Warm Side" contains more fill; the "Cool Side" less. You can orient it however works for your sleep setup. Both zones use the same quality down fill and shell — the only difference is fill weight per zone.
Fill Options
Choose your fill type based on your preferences and budget:
- White Down — European White Duck Down, 600 loft. Excellent warmth-to-weight ratio, a great all-around choice.
- White Goose Down — White Goose Down, 600 loft. Slightly larger clusters than duck down, often considered a step up in softness.

Understanding Duvet Warmth Levels
Highland Feather duvets come in multiple warmth levels to suit different seasons and sleepers. Summer is lightest — ideal for warm sleepers or air-conditioned rooms. All Season works year-round in most Canadian homes. All Season Warm suits cooler bedrooms or those who naturally sleep cold. Deluxe is maximum warmth for cold winter nights or unheated cottages.
If you are unsure, All Season is the safest starting point. You can always pair it with a lighter blanket in winter rather than committing to a heavier duvet year-round.
