Organic, & Natural Mattresses
Organic and natural mattresses use natural latex, organic cotton and wool, with no polyurethane foam, no flame retardants beyond wool, and no synthetic glues. They cost 2-3x more than conventional mattresses and last 15-20 years. For chemically sensitive sleepers, kids, and longest lifespan.

Transcript: Two natural lines are on our floor at Mattress Miracle in Brantford. Natura, organic cotton and wool over natural latex or coils. The two we keep on the floor, the Eco Brilliance and the Eco Transcend, are GOLS certified, and we can show you the certificate. And Sprout, the only mattress brand currently endorsed by the Canadian Chiropractic Association, two sided and made in Edmonton. For every other model we say plainly what is certified and what is simply natural.
What we actually carry
Natura, Cambridge Ontario
- Organic Line: Eco Serenity, Eco Oasis and Eco Transcend (coil hybrids), Eco Brilliance and Eco Haven (all NaturaLatex), Eco Sanctuary (all Talalay). Organic cotton ticking, 2.3 lb Natura Grow Wool layer, NaturaLatex comfort layers.
- Latex Line: Solace, Blossom, Sovereign, Twilight, Majestic, Premier, Sensation. Same cotton and wool over NaturaLatex or Talalay cores.
- Green Spring: Reflection, Harmony, Serene, Tranquil, Ultimate. Wool and latex over pocket coils.
- 20-year warranty on most models. Queen from about $900 to $4,400.
Natura names the fabric "organic" on its price list. The Eco Brilliance and Eco Transcend are GOLS certified; we have not seen certificates for the other models, so we do not claim them. If Natura supplies one, we will put it on the product page.

- Three feels, six builds: Somnus (soft), Durus (medium), Firmus (firm), each two-sided or single-sided.
- 100% natural Dunlop latex, wool, cotton and silk, hand-tufted over zoned pocket coils. Two-sided models flip and rotate.
- 10-year warranty. Sleeps temperature-neutral: wool and latex breathe, they do not chill.

Certifications are useful only when you know what they check. Here is the honest version, including which ones you will and will not find on our floor.

The part no label measures: how long it lasts
The greenest mattress is the one you do not replace in six years. Three things matter more than the badge on the tag.
Two-sided beats one-sided
A mattress you can flip wears on two surfaces instead of one. Sprout's two-sided Durus and the Casey TT hybrid are the flippable options on our floor.
Latex outlasts foam
Natural latex keeps its shape for fifteen to twenty years; polyurethane comfort foam softens in eight to ten. That is the honest reason latex costs more per night and less per year.
The old one has to go somewhere
We take your old mattress away for $20 with delivery. Ask us where it goes; we would rather tell you than pretend it vanishes.
