Protect your new mattress
A fitted protector guards against spills, stains, and wear from the first night. Most of our customers add one at delivery time and never think about it again.
Shop mattress protectorsThe Morning Glory is a traditional flippable coil mattress made in Canada by Sleep In. A double-sided comfort layer over a pocket-coil support core gives you two sleep surfaces and a longer useful life when you flip and rotate the mattress on a regular schedule.
What the Morning Glory Actually Is
- Two-sided flippable design with comfort layers on both sides
- Individually wrapped pocket-coil support core for motion isolation
- Quilted cover over foam comfort layers
- Medium firmness (roughly 5 to 6 on a 1-to-10 firmness scale)
- 11 inches thick
- 10-year warranty
- Built for households that want a longer-lasting mattress by flipping twice a year
Flipping and Rotation Schedule
A flippable mattress is designed to be flipped top-to-bottom every six months and rotated head-to-foot every three months. Doing this consistently is the reason a flippable mattress typically outlasts a one-sided mattress by several years. Without flipping, the comfort layer on the sleeping side compresses the same as any non-flippable mattress would.
Who It Suits
- Couples with similar firmness preferences. The pocket-coil core isolates motion transfer well.
- Households comparing mid-range flippables. We also carry the Whitney and the Dream Catcher in this category. All three use slightly different coil counts and comfort layer specifications. Come into the showroom to feel the differences.
- Traditional bed setups. Works with a standard box spring or solid platform foundation.
What to Look at Elsewhere
If a genuine natural-materials mattress is what you're after, the Morning Glory is not the right pick. It's a conventional coil-and-foam build with no wool or organic cotton. Look at these instead:
- Revive St Charles & Elizabeth Mattress, natural wool and copper-infused latex (Restonic)
- Husky Natural Life Hybrid Mattress, wool and natural latex (SleepKing)
Both are worth seeing in person if natural-fibre construction matters to you.

Common Questions About the Morning Glory
How is the Morning Glory different from the Whitney or Dream Catcher?
All three are Sleep In flippable coil mattresses in a similar price band. The coil counts, comfort-layer thicknesses, and cover fabrics vary. In our experience, the differences are easiest to feel by lying on them side-by-side in the showroom at 441 1/2 West Street.
How often should I flip the Morning Glory?
Flip top-to-bottom every six months, rotate head-to-foot every three months. Setting a reminder on your phone is the easiest way to remember.
Does the Morning Glory need a box spring?
A flippable coil mattress works best on a traditional box spring or a solid platform foundation with slats close enough to support the coil system. Call Brad at (519) 770-0001 if you want to confirm compatibility with your current frame.
Is the Morning Glory suitable for an adjustable base?
Traditional pocket-coil flippable mattresses are generally not recommended for adjustable bases. Adjustable bases work best with more flexible mattresses (memory foam, latex, compatible hybrids). Ask us about models that are adjustable-base compatible.
