The Cordoba is the most accessible way into real Canadian-filled down. It pairs European white duck down at a practical 600 loft with a soft, breathable 233 thread count cotton shell, giving you the light, lofty warmth of down without the price of a high thread count sateen. For a guest room, a student heading to residence, or a first down duvet, it is hard to beat.
Down-proof cotton keeps the fill where it belongs, square baffle box construction stops it drifting into the corners, and every Cordoba is filled and finished in Canada. DOWNMARK certified (the Down Association of Canada's label for genuine down and feather products finished in Canada), 15-year warranty, and four warmth levels so you can match it to the room and the sleeper.
- Summer, Lightest fill, for warm sleepers or summer use.
- All Season, Most versatile, suits most Canadian bedrooms year-round.
- All Season Warm, Extra warmth for cooler rooms or those who run cold.
- Deluxe, Maximum fill weight, for cold winters and unheated cottages.

Where the Cordoba sits in the Highland Feather range
The Cordoba 600 Loft White Duck Down Duvet is white duck down at 600 loft in a 233 thread count cotton shell. It is the entry step of the six Highland Feather down duvets Mattress Miracle stocks, a ladder we cut from twenty-two builds after six months of watching what customers actually bought. Queen prices run $320 in Summer weight to $408 in Deluxe; All Season is $350.
- One step up: the White Duck Down Duvet 600 Loft, $428 Queen All Season, with Tencel and cotton shell.
- Same down and loft in a different shell: White Duck Down Duvet 600 Loft (Tencel and cotton).
Every duvet in the range is made to order in Toronto with square baffle box construction and a 15 year warranty; the price differences buy loft (a lighter duvet for the same warmth) and shell smoothness. Compare all six side by side on the Highland Feather range page. Highland Feather makes other builds (Hutterite 725 loft, 800 loft duck, 700 thread count shells) that we no longer list online; call (519) 770-0001 and we can still order them.
Washing this duvet
Keep it inside a cover you wash weekly and the duvet itself only needs washing once or twice a year. Use a large front loading washer, cool water, a gentle cycle and a small dose of mild detergent, then dry on low heat with wool or tennis balls until every part of it is bone dry, which usually takes two to three hours. A damp centre inside a dry shell is how mildew starts, so err on the side of another 30 minutes. Our down duvet washing guide has the full method.

Understanding Duvet Warmth Levels
Highland Feather duvets come in multiple warmth levels to suit different seasons and sleepers. Summer is lightest, ideal for warm sleepers or air-conditioned rooms. All Season works year-round in most Canadian homes. All Season Warm suits cooler bedrooms or those who naturally sleep cold. Deluxe is maximum warmth for cold winter nights or unheated cottages.
If you are unsure, All Season is the safest starting point. You can always pair it with a lighter blanket in winter rather than committing to a heavier duvet year-round.
