Who Should Skip It

How does the High Density Firm compare to the Silk & Wool Flippable?
The Silk & Wool uses natural silk and wool comfort layers over a firm support core. The High Density Firm uses a standard heavy-duty quilted cover over dense foam. Same firmness feel, different materials. If the natural fibres and the flippable design matter to you, go with the Silk & Wool; if a straightforward firm mattress at a better price point is what you want, the High Density Firm is the practical pick.
Is this mattress too firm for average-weight sleepers?
Probably, unless you specifically prefer firm. Under about 180 lbs, an 8-of-10 firmness can feel like sleeping on the floor. Come in and lie on it for 10 minutes in the showroom before committing.
Does this mattress help with back pain?
For heavier sleepers whose back pain is caused by too-soft mattresses sagging under body weight, a firmer base can help considerably. For other causes of back pain (disc issues, muscular, postural), a mattress alone is not a solution. Speak with a family doctor, chiropractor, or physiotherapist if you have chronic back pain.
Will couples with different weights work on this mattress?
