The Sovereign sits at the top of our Natura Latex Line, and once you look at what's actually built into it, the price starts to make sense. This is eleven inches of mattress with no foam blends standing in for the real thing. Every comfort layer is organic Talalay latex, layered over organic wool and wrapped in organic cotton.
Built to order by Natura, about four weeks. This model is not on our showroom floor; the Eco Brilliance and Eco Transcend are, if you want to feel the NaturaLatex build before you decide.
Six layers, top to bottom
Under the organic cotton stretch-knit cover sits 2.3 lbs of Pure Natura Grow Wool, a natural layer that helps with temperature and adds a soft hand-feel before you even reach the latex. Below that:
- 1 inch EcoQuilt foam
- 2 inch organic NaturaLatex Talalay, soft
- 2 inch organic NaturaLatex Talalay, medium/firm
- 6 inch organic NaturaLatex Talalay support core
That's five inches of comfort latex sitting over a six inch support core, Talalay all the way down.
One bed, two firmness settings
Because the Sovereign uses two separate comfort layers, one soft and one medium/firm, we can set up each side of the bed differently for couples who don't agree on what "comfortable" means. One partner gets a softer feel, the other gets more support, same mattress, same night.
Organic cotton and wool
The cotton, wool, and latex in the Sovereign are the organic cotton, Natura Grow Wool and NaturaLatex Natura lists for this line. It covers how the fibers are grown and processed, not just the finished cover. The Sovereign comes with a 20-year warranty, and it's built for people who want deeper, more restorative rest without wondering what's actually inside the mattress they're sleeping on.
