Somnia 06" Half-Moon Cervical Pillow by Orthex

The Somnia 06" is a half-moon cervical support roll from Orthex. It is a small, firm gel memory foam bolster, 15 inches long, 6 inches wide and 3 inches high, with a breathable coconut-fibre knit cover that zips off for washing. It is the smallest piece in the Somnia posture range and the one most people use alongside their regular pillow.

What it is for

• Neck: lie on your back and tuck the flat side under the curve of your neck, with your head resting on the mattress or a low pillow. It fills the gap between your neck and the bed so the cervical spine keeps its natural curve.
• Knees: place it under your knees when lying on your back to take pressure off the lower back.
• Lower back: sit with it behind the lumbar curve in a car seat or office chair.
• Ankles: rest your ankles on it to lift the heels off the mattress.

Getting used to it

Orthex says the typical adaptation period is two to three weeks, and many people adjust faster. Start with short sessions if the support feels firm at first.

Care

Spot clean the foam with a damp cloth only. Remove the cover and machine wash it in cold water, then lay it flat to dry. No bleach, no ironing. Orthex makes a replacement cover for this model (code 450306); ask us in store.

Warranty

Orthex Canada Inc. covers its posture cushions with a five-year warranty from the date of purchase against manufacturing defects. Approved claims are replaced with the same model or its equivalent. Claims go directly to Orthex by email or phone.
