Washing this pillow
Use a pillow protector under the pillowcase and wash the pillow itself two or three times a year: front loading washer, cool gentle cycle, a little mild detergent, two pillows at once to balance the drum, then low heat with dryer balls until the centre is completely dry. Choosing the Right Down Pillow
Down pillow loft refers to the volume and fluffiness of the down clusters. Higher loft numbers (600, 725, 750, 950) mean larger, more resilient clusters that trap more air and provide better insulation while remaining lightweight. A 600-loft pillow is an excellent everyday choice; 725+ loft is a luxury upgrade with noticeably softer, more resilient fill.
Sleep position matters: Side sleepers generally need a firmer, higher-loft pillow to fill the gap between shoulder and ear. Back sleepers do well with medium loft. Stomach sleepers should choose the lowest fill level to keep the neck in a neutral position.
