Do you need a box spring with your mattress? Box springs raise bed height, absorb movement, and can extend mattress lifespan. The Better Sleep Council recommends them for innerspring and hybrid mattresses, as they provide essential coil-to-coil support. Memory foam and latex mattresses work better on slatted platform bases. Always check your mattress warranty, as an incompatible base can void coverage.

| Queen | 60" x 80" | $150 |
| Split Queen | Two 30" x 80" halves | $230 |

| Split King | Two 38" x 80" halves | $310 |
Three heights, chosen under the Style option: 7 1/2" standard, 5" low profile, and 2" ultra low. Add the mattress height to the box spring height and the frame height to get your final sleep height; most people are comfortable stepping into bed at 24 to 27 inches. A 14 inch mattress on a 7 1/2" box spring and a 7" frame puts the top at about 28 inches, which is where the 5" or 2" option earns its keep. Split sizes exist for stairwells and tight corners: two halves carry up where one piece will not turn.
Construction is a solid wood frame with heavy-duty steel supports under a neutral fabric. Use it under an innerspring or hybrid mattress. Memory foam and latex mattresses are happier on a slatted platform such as the Level platform bed, and some foam warranties require one, so check the mattress warranty before pairing.
