A mattress is a long-term investment. A protector is what keeps it one. The SuiteHome Bamboo Mattress Protector fits over your mattress like a fitted sheet and puts a quiet layer of waterproof, dust-mite-resistant protection between your mattress and everything that happens on top of it.
The sleep surface is a bamboo-blend fabric, 30% bamboo and 70% polyester, which sits softer and cooler against your sheets than a straight polyester protector. The backing is 100% polyurethane, which is what makes it fully waterproof. Spills, sweat, and accidents stay on the surface where they can be dealt with, not inside your mattress where they cannot.
It fits flat, stays put, and does not change the feel of your mattress in a meaningful way. If you have spent money on a good mattress, this is a straightforward way to protect it.

Is this protector actually waterproof?
Yes. The backing is 100% polyurethane, which creates a fully waterproof barrier. Liquid does not pass through to the mattress. The waterproof layer is bonded to the underside of the sleep surface, so you do not feel it directly through your sheets.
The name says bamboo. Is it actually bamboo?
It is a bamboo blend. The sleep surface is 30% bamboo fibre and 70% polyester. The bamboo content is what gives it a softer, slightly cooler feel compared to a 100% polyester protector. We prefer to be upfront about the blend rather than just lead with "bamboo" and leave you to find the fine print.
What does it protect against?
Spills and liquid (fully waterproof), dust mites, and general wear and staining that would otherwise work into the mattress over time. Keeping your mattress clean also keeps your warranty intact on most brands.
Will it make my mattress feel different?
Not noticeably. A thin fitted protector like this adds very little height and does not alter the firmness or feel of the mattress underneath. If anything you will notice it less than you expect.
My mattress already has a fabric cover. Do I still need a protector?
Yes. The fabric cover that comes with most mattresses is not waterproof and is often not removable. A mattress protector gives you something you can actually wash, and it keeps the mattress itself clean underneath. Most mattress warranties also require one to stay valid.
