- Digital weather station. Shows pressure, temperature, humidity, and often a 12 or 24 hour trend. Helpful if you also want to track bedroom humidity, which is a bigger sleep factor than pressure for many people.
- Phone app. Uses local airport or crowd-sourced station data. Free, accurate enough for trends, but requires picking up the phone, which most sleep hygiene guidance argues against in the hour before bed.
A barometer is worth having if you are one of the sensitive groups above and you want to connect morning symptoms to overnight conditions. It is not a treatment. It is a small instrument that helps you stop being surprised.
One note on accuracy. Cheap digital units can drift over time, especially if they sit near a heat source.
