Murphy Bed Cabinet - $2,260
Despite the name, this is a cabinet bed (freestanding, no wall mounting), not a traditional wall-mounted Murphy bed. The name refers to the style of the fold-out mechanism, which is similar to a Murphy design but contained within a portable cabinet.
At $2,260, it is $260 more than the Dream Dresser and offers a slightly different aesthetic and mechanism. Both are Canadian-made and both use queen-size tri-fold mattresses.

Cabinet Bed vs Sofa Bed: Another Honest Comparison
Sofa beds are the traditional space-saving bed, and we carry several at our showroom. Here is how they compare to cabinet beds.
A sofa bed serves two functions daily: seating and sleeping. A cabinet bed serves one function daily (storage/surface) and converts to a bed occasionally. If the room needs seating every day and a bed sometimes, a sofa bed makes more sense. If the room needs open floor space every day and a bed sometimes, a cabinet bed makes more sense.
Our sofa bed options include the Nova Sofa Bed at $590, the Loveseat Sleeper at $835, and the Orionis Leather Sofa Bed at $900. All are significantly less expensive than a cabinet bed.
