One of the questions we hear most often on the phone is simple: "Where exactly are you?" Fair enough. We have been at the same address since 1997, but if you have never driven down West Street, it is easy to miss us.

This guide breaks down how to get to Mattress Miracle from every Brantford neighbourhood, plus the surrounding communities we deliver to. We will include approximate drive times, landmarks to watch for, and a few notes about what makes each part of Brantford worth knowing.

Where We Are on West Street

Our address is 441 1/2 West Street, Brantford, Ontario N3R 3V9. We sit on the west side of West Street, just south of where it meets the Terrace Hill area. If you are coming from Highway 403, take the King George Road exit and head south. West Street runs roughly parallel to King George Road, one block to the east.

There is free parking right at the store. No parking garages, no meters. Pull up, walk in, and take your time.

Brantford Neighbourhoods and Drive Times

Here is a quick reference table showing approximate drive times from each Brantford neighbourhood to our West Street location. These times assume normal traffic conditions, not rush hour on Wayne Gretzky Parkway.

As you can see, the longest drive from anywhere inside Brantford is about 12 minutes. Most neighbourhoods are under 8.

Terrace Hill and Holmedale

These are our closest neighbours, and many of our most loyal customers live in one of these two areas.

Terrace Hill

Terrace Hill sits just north and east of our store. It is one of Brantford's oldest neighbourhoods, bordered by Highway 403 to the north and West Street to the east. The area is known for its character homes, many with original brickwork and tree-lined streets that feel like they have been there for a century. Because they have.

If you live in Terrace Hill, you are probably our closest customers. The drive is 2 to 4 minutes, and some folks have walked over on a nice Saturday afternoon. Head south on West Street and we are on the right.

Holmedale

Just west of Terrace Hill, Holmedale is consistently rated one of Brantford's best neighbourhoods. The Grand River winds along its eastern edge, giving residents access to trails like the SC Johnson Trail, Waterworks Park, and the Rotary Bike Park. Homes range from century properties to renovated family homes backing onto wooded lots.

From Holmedale, head east on Brant Avenue toward West Street. The drive takes 3 to 5 minutes. Coming from the Waterworks Park end, you may prefer to take St. Paul Avenue to West Street.

Eagle Place and East Ward

Eagle Place

Eagle Place is one of Brantford's most historic neighbourhoods, sitting south of the Grand River along Erie Avenue. It offers an attractive balance of affordability and community spirit. Families enjoy close proximity to schools, parks, and Grand River trails. The area has a mix of updated older homes and newer infill developments.

From Eagle Place, the easiest route is to head west across the Grand River via the Lorne Bridge or the new pedestrian bridge, then south on West Street. Allow 5 to 8 minutes depending on where in Eagle Place you start.

East Ward

East Ward sits north of Eagle Place and east of downtown, centred around Rawdon Street. It is a diverse neighbourhood with a strong community feel, close to shopping on King George Road and recreation at the T.B. Costain arena.

From East Ward, head west along Colborne Street or Clarence Street toward West Street. The drive is 5 to 7 minutes, and you will pass through the edge of downtown along the way.

Downtown Brantford and North Ward

Downtown Brantford

Downtown is changing. The City of Brantford's Downtown Revitalization Project is bringing new streetscaping, underground infrastructure, and capacity for future development. Over 1,800 new residential units have received planning approval in the Urban Growth Centre, and Wilfrid Laurier University continues to expand its campus. Phase 1 of the revitalization project is scheduled for completion by late August 2026.

For all the new residents moving downtown, and the students at Laurier and Conestoga, we are a short drive west on Colborne Street to West Street. Four to six minutes from the heart of downtown.

North Ward

North Ward is a well-established residential area north of downtown, known for its tree-lined streets and proximity to the Dufferin Avenue heritage district. It is a quiet, walkable neighbourhood popular with young professionals and retirees alike.

From North Ward, head south on Brant Avenue or Dalhousie Street to Colborne, then west to West Street. The drive is 5 to 8 minutes. If you are closer to the 403, you can also take King George Road south and cut over to West Street.

West Brant and Shellard Lane

West Brant

West Brant is one of Brantford's fastest-growing areas, with modern subdivisions, family-friendly streets, and newer homes. If you have bought a new build in West Brant in the last few years, you probably need to furnish it. The builders put in the kitchens and bathrooms. You still need a good mattress.

From West Brant, head east on Hardy Road or Powerline Road toward West Street. Depending on where you are in the subdivision, the drive is 6 to 9 minutes.

Shellard Lane

Shellard Lane is one of Brantford's fastest-growing family hubs, with multiple schools within walking distance including Ryerson Heights Elementary, St. Gabriel Catholic, and Assumption College. The area is surrounded by parks and trails, and families appreciate the mix of newer homes, walkability, and proximity to shopping.

From Shellard Lane, take Garden Avenue or Powerline Road south to reach West Street. Allow 7 to 10 minutes.

North Brantford: Brier Park, Mayfair, Fairview, and Lynden Hills

The neighbourhoods north of Highway 403 are some of the most convenient for highway access. If you commute to Hamilton, Kitchener, or the GTA, you probably live in one of these areas.

Brier Park and Mayfair

Brier Park and Mayfair sit just north of the 403, centred around the Brier Park Plaza and Fairview Drive. These are well-established residential areas with mature trees, good schools, and quick highway access. The drive to our store is 8 to 10 minutes, heading south on King George Road and then over to West Street.

Fairview and Lynden Hills

Further north, Fairview and Lynden Hills are among Brantford's most convenient neighbourhoods for shopping and commuting, with the Lynden Road corridor offering major retail and the 403 right at your door. The drive to us is 8 to 12 minutes, but the route is straightforward: south on King George Road, then west to West Street.

Henderson

Henderson sits just north of Holmedale, known for excellent schools including French Immersion programs. It is a mature, tree-lined community with a friendly neighbourhood feel. From Henderson, the drive is 6 to 8 minutes south along Powerline Road or Brant Avenue.

Paris, Ontario

Paris is a 12 to 15 minute drive west along Rest Acres Road or Highway 2. Known as "The Prettiest Little Town in Canada," Paris has a growing population and a distinct small-town character. Many Paris residents prefer shopping in Brantford for the selection that a small-town store cannot always match. Cainsville and Mount Pleasant

Cainsville sits just east of Brantford along Highway 2. Mount Pleasant is a bit further out, about 10 to 15 minutes via Mount Pleasant Road. Both are growing communities in Brant County where families are building new homes and need to furnish them. We deliver to both.

St. George and Burford

St. George is 15 to 18 minutes south on Highway 24. Burford is about the same distance west on Highway 53. Both are rural communities with a strong sense of independence. Residents there tend to value doing business with family-owned stores over big chains, which is something we appreciate.
