Shop mattress protectorsEvery layer inside the Natura Premier is latex, top to bottom. That's not true of every latex mattress on the market. Plenty use a thin latex topper over regular foam or coils and call it a latex bed. This one runs Talalay latex through both the comfort layer and the support core, wrapped in organic cotton and wool. It's a simple idea, built consistently, and simple ideas are usually the ones worth trusting.
At 9 inches, the Premier sits lower than a lot of today's mattresses. That's by design rather than a shortcut. The height comes from doing less filler and more of what actually matters: two solid layers of latex, each doing a different job.
Built From the Top Down
- Organic cotton quilt fabric for the sleep surface
- 2.3 lbs Pure Natura Wool for temperature regulation and a bit of loft
- 1 inch EcoQuilt foam as a soft transition layer
- 2 inch NaturaLatex Talalay comfort layer
- 6 inch NaturaTalalay latex support core
The part of the mattress you actually sleep against, the cotton and wool layer on top, is synthetic-free. Wool breathes and wicks moisture in a way synthetic fill can't, and it does that on its own, without any cooling gel or added technology. Underneath, the all-Talalay construction gives the mattress a responsive, even feel across the surface, so you don't get soft spots or a mattress that feels different depending on where you're lying.
If you're used to memory foam, this will feel different right away. Latex pushes back as soon as you move instead of slowly sinking in and holding your shape. Neither is wrong, they're just different ways of supporting a body, and it's worth trying both before you decide.
The cotton and wool in the Premier are certified organic, the same certified materials used across the rest of the Natura Latex Line. We're grateful to work with a supplier that holds those standards on every model, not just the flagship ones.
