Natura Sensation Mattress

Most of the mattresses in our Natura Latex Line lean entirely on latex, layer stacked on layer, letting that one material carry the whole feel. The Sensation does something different. It layers memory foam over a latex core, and it's the only model in the line built that way. If you like the close, cushioned hug of memory foam but still want the bounce and airflow latex gives you, this is the one we'd point you toward.

What's stacked inside

Ten inches, built from the top down: a stretch-knit ticking made from certified organic cotton, then 2.3 lbs of certified organic Pure Natura Grow Wool underneath it for a soft, breathable first touch. Below that sits an inch of EcoQuilt foam, then two inches of soft memory foam, then two more inches of firmer memory foam. The whole thing rests on a 6 inch NaturaLatex support core that does the heavy lifting underneath.

That soft-over-firm memory foam pairing is worth mentioning on its own. The top layer eases pressure at the shoulders and hips, and the firmer layer underneath keeps your spine from sinking too far before the latex core takes over. It's a gradual handoff rather than one abrupt change in feel.

Why the latex core matters

Latex breathes differently than foam on its own. It has natural airflow built into its structure, so heat and moisture move through the mattress instead of sitting against your skin the way all-foam beds sometimes do. That's the trade-off the Sensation is built around: memory foam's contouring on top, latex's airflow and support underneath.

Organic where it counts

The cotton ticking and the wool layer underneath it are both certified organic. It's not a line we added for effect, it's what's actually sewn into the mattress you'd take home.
