Edge Collapse
All-foam mattresses have inherently weak edges because foam compresses uniformly. The Endy mattress is a 10-inch, three-layer all-foam mattress made in Canada. The top layer is a proprietary open-cell comfort foam. The middle layer is a transition foam. The bottom layer is a high-density support foam. It ships compressed in a box and expands over 24 to 48 hours. Endy is owned by Sleep Country Canada.
The foam density is moderate but not premium. The 10-inch total height is thinner than most hybrid or pocket coil mattresses (which typically range from 12 to 15 inches). Thinner profiles mean less room for comfort layers, which translates to less pressure relief for side sleepers and less support depth for heavier bodies.
The Limitations of All-Foam Construction

No Targeted Support
Foam compresses proportionally to the weight applied to it. It cannot provide different levels of resistance to different body zones. Is Endy a bad mattress?
No. Endy is a competent all-foam mattress at a reasonable price. It works well for back sleepers between 130 and 200 pounds who do not sleep hot.
