Does it smell when unboxed?
Yes, most foam beds have an "off-gassing" smell for 24-48 hours after opening as the compressed foam expands and releases VOCs. Open a window!
Can I put it on the floor?
Technically yes, but it restricts airflow and can lead to mold. We recommend a slat platform or box spring foundation.
