Elevator and Hallway Dimensions That Actually Matter
Here is the number that determines your mattress options: the interior dimensions of your building's freight or service elevator. Not the passenger elevator, the service elevator. Most condo buildings restrict furniture moves to the freight elevator during designated hours.

The building offers 1-bed, 1-bed plus den, 2-bed, and 2-bed plus den layouts, plus penthouse suites. For the standard one-bedroom, expect a bedroom that comfortably fits a queen with nightstands. The penthouse suites are where king beds become practical. The 8th-floor amenity level means deliveries need to pass through a lobby designed for visual impact, not furniture logistics. Radio Arts at 206 King Street West
At 14 storeys with 122 suites, Radio Arts is a boutique building by Hamilton condo standards. Smaller buildings sometimes have smaller freight elevators. The unit range from 363 to 1,020 sq ft means the largest three-bedroom suites can handle king beds, but the studios and one-bedrooms are firmly queen territory. The master suite dimensions in the larger units should accommodate a king, but verify with the floor plan documents from Canlight before ordering.
Television City at 163 Jackson Street West
Lamb Development Corp's 32-storey, 618-unit tower has suites ranging from 343 to 2,010 sq ft. That top end is generous for a Hamilton condo, penthouse-level space where a king bed is appropriate. The Setai's 8-storey design in the Kirkendall neighbourhood is lower-rise, which often means different elevator configurations than the downtown towers.
