1. What is the mattress model name and where else is it sold?

Look up the mattress by name. Is it sold independently at this or other retailers? What are the reviews? What is its construction (coil count, foam layers, mattress height)? If the mattress in the bundle is a proprietary or private-label model that doesn't appear outside the bundle, that's a flag. You can't compare it to anything else, which is often the point.

2. What does the adjustable base's motor warranty actually cover?

Adjustable base warranties have multiple components with different coverage periods. A common structure: 20-year frame warranty, 5-year motor and actuator warranty, 2-year electronics and massage warranty. The features you use daily (massage, anti-snore, app control) may be covered for only 2–3 years. Ask for the full warranty breakdown in writing before you sign.

3. What happens if you like one component and not the other?

Most bundle returns require returning both components together. If the base is perfect but the mattress isn't right, or the mattress is wonderful but the base is too noisy, you may not be able to exchange just one piece. This means you need to return and spend the credit at Sleep Country to realise the saving. On a $2,500 bundle, 15% back as a promo card is $375, but it's $375 you can only spend at Sleep Country. If you're buying a full bedroom suite, this is useful. If this is your only purchase, it's less valuable than it appears.

Incompatible return policies. As noted above, bundle returns often require returning both components. Know this before purchasing. If the mattress and base have different trial periods (Douglas: 365 nights for mattress, 120 nights for base), you need to track both independently.
