Protect your new mattress
A fitted protector guards against spills, stains, and wear from the first night. Most of our customers add one at delivery time and never think about it again.
Shop mattress protectorsPull back the cover on the Serene and the first thing you notice isn't the wool or the latex. It's what's underneath both: 1,020 individually wrapped coils, triple heat treated and pre-compressed, arranged across five separate support zones. That's the part of this mattress most shoppers skip past, but it's doing a lot of the work.
The comfort layer above the coils is four inches of NaturaLatex, plush density on paper, but stacked this deep it behaves differently once you're lying on it. Instead of sinking straight through to the springs, you get a slower, more structured contour. The overall feel reads a touch firmer than the "plush" label suggests, which is exactly what some sleepers are looking for after years on a mattress that let them sink too far.
What's layered inside
- Organic cotton quilt fabric
- 2.3 lbs Pure Natura Wool
- 1 inch plant-based quilt foam
- 4 inch NaturaLatex comfort layer, plush density
- 9.5 inch triple heat-treated, pre-compressed, individually wrapped coils, 1,020 coils across 5 support zones
The wool sits right under the quilted cotton and does two jobs at once. It buffers pressure points before you ever reach the latex, and it moves heat and moisture away from your body instead of trapping it against your skin. Between the wool and the latex, the natural materials in the Serene also resist the allergens that synthetic foams tend to hold onto.
Wrapped coils move independently, so a partner rolling over on their side of a queen doesn't send a ripple across to yours. If you've shared a bed that broadcasts every movement, that's one of the more noticeable differences here.
If you run warm at night, or you've tried a latex mattress before and found yourself sinking further than you wanted, the Serene's deeper latex layer and wool buffer are worth ten quiet minutes on our showroom floor. Firmness reads differently under your own back than it does on a spec sheet.
The Serene is built in Canada and comes with a 10-year warranty. A queen size runs $2,523.40 CAD.
Stop in and lie on one at 441 1/2 West Street in Brantford, or call (519) 770-0001 and we'll walk you through it before you make the drive.
Sitting between the firmer Harmony and the tall Ultimate, the Serene is the mid-plush Green Spring. Prefer Talalay on top? Compare the Tranquil. Browse the whole Natura range.
