The Tranquil, from Natura's Green Spring line, tries to give you both by putting four inches of ultra plush Talalay latex directly over 1,020 individually wrapped coils arranged across five support zones. The latex gives right away under your hips and shoulders, while the zoned coils keep your spine from sagging in the middle. It's backed by a 10-year warranty.
Built from the top down
The cover is organic cotton quilt fabric, filled with 2.3 lbs of pure Natura wool over a thin layer of plant-based quilt foam. Wool isn't just there to feel nice against your skin. It pulls moisture away from your body and helps keep your temperature more even overnight, the same reason wool works well in a good sweater or blanket. Below that sits the 4-inch Talalay latex comfort layer, then 9.5 inches of triple heat-treated, pre-compressed coils, individually wrapped so each one moves on its own instead of as part of one connected unit. Altogether, the Tranquil stands 14 inches tall.

Who tends to like this one
If you or your partner move around at night, the wrapped coils absorb a lot of that motion before it reaches the other side of the bed. People who sleep warm often notice the wool layer working within the first few nights, since it doesn't hold heat the way some all-foam mattresses do. We haven't certified this specific model organic or GOLS, so we're not going to claim that here. What we can say honestly is that the materials themselves are natural: cotton, wool, latex, and steel.
Because the comfort layer leans plush, most side sleepers do fine without adding a topper. If you sleep mostly on your back or stomach, ask us in the showroom, we can set the Tranquil next to a firmer option from the Green Spring line so you can compare them directly.
