Natura Ultimate Mattress - Green Spring Collection

Sixteen inches is a lot of mattress. Stack a bag of wool, six inches of latex, and a base of individually wrapped coils, and that is what you get: the tallest, most cushioned model in Natura's Green Spring line, the one we point customers toward first when they ask what the top of that lineup feels like.

Built from the top down

The surface is organic cotton quilt fabric over 2.3 lbs of Pure Natura Wool. That wool is not there for looks. It pulls heat and moisture away from your body through the night and softens the surface before you reach the foam underneath. Below the wool sits one inch of plant-based quilt foam, then the real work starts: two separate 3 inch layers of NaturaTalalay latex, stacked for a full 6 inch comfort system, double the latex found in some other Green Spring builds we carry. All of it rests on a 9.5 inch NaturaCoil base of individually wrapped coils, so each coil responds on its own instead of pulling on its neighbours.

Why the extra height is there

Every inch here is doing a job, not padding a spec sheet. Wool and quilt foam take the first give under your body. The two latex layers spread your weight and cushion hips and shoulders without going flat. The wrapped coils add support and a bit of bounce, and since each coil moves on its own, your side of the bed will not broadcast every move to your partner's side.

What it costs

In queen size, the Ultimate is priced at $4,391.20 CAD. That reflects two full layers of Talalay latex and a heavier wool layer than the entry models in this line carry, not a certification claim. We have not seen independent organic or GOLS certification paperwork for this model, so we will not tell you it has one. What is actually built into it is listed above, and that is what you are paying for.
