A queen holds 750 zoned pocket C-coils, double edge-guarded, with 14-gauge wire at the head and foot and heavier 13-gauge wire reserved for the lumbar zone alone. Coil gauge runs backwards from what you might expect: the lower the number, the thicker the steel. So the middle third of this bed pushes back hardest exactly where your body presses down most.

This is a true two-sided, tight-top mattress, the kind you flip and rotate the way mattresses were built to be. On each face, the comfort layers are wool, 100% Dunlop latex, and cotton under a herringbone 100% cotton cover. Hand-tufting with wool rosettes pulls those layers tight so they resist body impressions instead of collecting them.
