Do You Need a Liner with a Linen Shower Curtain?

Yes. This is the part most design blogs gloss over. A linen curtain alone will not keep water inside your tub or shower. You need a separate waterproof liner on the inside (the tub side) and the linen curtain on the outside (the bathroom side).

Think of it like a two-layer system:

• The liner does the waterproofing. PEVA liners are a good choice because they are vinyl-free, affordable, and easy to replace every 6 to 12 months.
