Split King Tip: Make sure your bedroom fits a king-width footprint (76" wide). The two Twin XL bases sit flush against each other. Will an adjustable base fit in my Vancouver condo?
Queen adjustable bases are roughly the same footprint as a queen platform bed (60" x 80"). They fit in any room that fits a queen bed. The legs add 6-12 inches of height. Elevator access is the main concern for high-rises. The SleepBeat ships in a box small enough for most condo elevators.
Can I use my existing mattress on an adjustable base?
If your current mattress is all-foam or a foam hybrid (no traditional coil system), it should flex on an adjustable base. Traditional innerspring mattresses with Bonnell or offset coils should not be used on adjustable bases. When in doubt, contact your mattress manufacturer to confirm compatibility.
Do adjustable beds help with snoring?
Elevating the head 15-30 degrees can reduce snoring caused by gravity pulling soft tissue into the airway.
